About Mala Hotpot Cincinnati

We are Mala Hotpot Cincinnati, serving a unique Chinese cuisine dining experience.

Mala Hotpot Cincinnati is a chinese restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is listed at 3177 Glendale Milford Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241, which places it among the local businesses of Cincinnati that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Cincinnati; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Ohio are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 5–8:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. Variety of veggie and protein choices. They've made changes with their menu now you can get hotpot and dim sum paying just one price! Plus free lemonade and authentic tea! It'd never go wrong with this place! Parties of big group also welcomed!

Went a while back in the past and it used to be all you can eat and a great price which gave you hotpot and dim sum. Now it's a set menu combo and your pretty much forced into eating noodles or whatever it comes with.. it's not how I prefer hotpot hopefully they change it back or offer a higher priced all you can eat option the selection of included items on the dim sum were confusing also it used to be better unfortunately. It's kinda just okay I would say now I would rather pay more somewhere else. They do have good sauce ingredients tho probably the best around.

First-time here. We came for dinner while we were in town. The food was great with many options. You basically have your own hot pot that is turned on and pick out different foods you would like. The meal includes a vegetarian buffet that you can add to your dish or soup also. You can order on your phone or with the server.

First the good - The service was outstanding. Our server was very cheerful and helpful. In general, the food is good with a HUGE selection. The prices seemed very good for this type of restaurant and dining experience (a hotpot in which each diner selects and cooks their own food at the table). But, why did I rate it 2 Stars overall? Well, there are several logistics that need to be improved. All of the tables are booths (no chairs). That makes it VERY inconvenient for most people at the table to get up to get the buffet style vegetables and sauces. Also, the biggest of the booths are designed for a max of six diners. We had seven in our party. Our choice was to split up or to squeeze in. Since one of our seven was a 4-year-old who would not be 'cooking' on a hotpot, we chose to squeeze in. We chose wrong! There simply was not enough room on the table for all of the hotpots, plates, beverages, cups, sauces, water pitchers, etc. Also, you couldn't place your order with the server. You have to do it through their app. That turned out to be WAY more complicated and confusing than it should have been. Maybe on a second visit, the app would feel more logical. Finally, a

Mala was delicious. So yummy that I crave their tomato soup hotpot! The restaurant is super clean and has a very white aesthetic. The staff is super patient and will explain the process, especially if you are new here. The menu is pretty easy to read and fill out. It goes step by step but for the price the portion was a lot! To the point I even had a left over meal to take home. The plates provide a lot of meat and the best part was that you could cook it all yourself. They also have a sauce bar so you could add hot chili oil or dip your meats for more flavor. Overall it was a 10/10 experience. They even had a robot bring you your order/additional items that you order.
